Australians produce waste at an astronomical rate – 50 millions tonnes each year to be exact. Our waste problem is so bad that the Federal Government recently announced it will give food-rescue groups a $1.2 million funding injection.
But in the heart of Sydney’s inner west, a repair and reuse centre is joining in on the sustainability revolution, by offering pop-up repair services at various locations across Sydney, in the hopes of changing the way we think about our waste.
